Assistant Professor of Marketing – 34020

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Alma College Department of Business Administration invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Marketing. This is a full-time, tenure-track position beginning August 2025. The standard teaching load for this position is six units throughout the academic year and may include teaching in different modalities.

The department’s desire is for an experienced faculty colleague with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching. Teaching experience and/or professional experience in marketing, digital marketing, and business is required. Successful applicants are those who can teach marketing and digital marketing, as well as a business generalist who can teach across multiple business fields, including data analytics and management.

A Ph.D. or Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) or related fields is preferred. An all-but dissertation (ABD) will be considered. Master of Business Administration (MBA) with professional college-level teaching experience will be considered for a non-tenure appointment at the instructor level. Experience with Canvas or other LMS is preferred.
