Important information will be sent three days before you check-in to the email address provided when making your reservation. This email will include directions to your room, your personal door code, and a complimentary Rec Center pass. The evening before your arrival, a reminder text message will also be sent to the phone number on file.

A credit card is required at time of booking to place a 50% deposit on your reservation. The other 50% will be due one week before your check-in.
If your credit card expires before your scheduled check-in, please contact us to update your payment information.

Yes, you are able to book through a third-party website. We currently list all of our house suites on Airbnb; search for Alma College Hospitality.

- Rooms and suites have no minimums.
- The Meyer House has a 2-night minimum.

- Yes, early check-outs are permitted.
- We do not provide partial refunds for early departures.

- Cancellations are required a minimum of 48 hours prior to the date of check-in or the credit card on file will be assessed for the full balance. *Some rates and promotions are non-refundable at time of booking.
- If one does not show up for a scheduled reservation the credit card on file will be charged the balance owed for the entire reservation.
- *The following 2024 and 2025 dates have non-refundable rates.

Check-in begins at 3:00pm and check-out is no later than 11:00am. We run a self-check-in and self-check-out system to allow our guests a smoother process. You’re more than welcome to stop by the front desk to chat with us!

- Requests can be made to the front desk by email (hospitality@alma.edu), text, or phone call (989-463-7952).
- Not all requests can be accommodated as room availability may be limited.
- Early check-ins and late check-outs that are permitted will incur an extra fee.

- The Gelston Guest Room is fully handicap accessible.
- The Meyer Room, located in the Smith Alumni House and the CJ & Caroline Suite located in the Class of 1980/Altman House are both located on the first-floor. While they are not ADA approved, many guests with accessibility needs appreciate these spaces.

We offer one parking space per room. Additional overnight street parking is available from April 1-Oct 1. Larger parties should contact us beforehand if in need of extra parking.

- Other than service animals, pets are not permitted at our residences. A $250 fee will be assessed should we discover excessive cleaning and/or damage is committed.
- We ask that you provide ample notice if you will be traveling with a service animal so that we may provide you with our policy.

The front desk is typically staffed between the hours of 12pm-7pm daily. Outside of these hours, a staff member can be reached by texting or calling (989) 463-7952; please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as we are able. Our email, hospitality@alma.edu is also checked frequently for guest questions or concerns. In the case of an emergency, please call Campus Safety at (989) 463-7777.

- We offer a small supply of soaps, lotions, and makeup wipes for your convenience.
- For guests staying longer than a few days, we recommend bringing your own hygiene products as we do not restock private bathrooms during your stay.
- Reservations with 4 nights or more are offered a towel exchange; the front desk attendant will be in contact to confirm your preference and provide instructions.

- Laundry services are available in each of our houses. Please note, the Gelston Guest Room does not have laundry services; however, if you will be staying for more than 4 days, you may contact our front desk to make arrangements to use one of our other locations.
- All rooms have access to a clothes iron and board.

- Small gatherings with outside guests in the common spaces are permitted at the Smith Alumni House or the Class of 1980/Altman House with prior approval.
- All rooms in the Smith Alumni House or the Class of 1980/Altman House must be booked by members of your party.
- An additional cleaning fee will be applied.

- Alma College has a no-smoking policy in all buildings, both inside and out of the premises.
- Evidence of smoking will incur a fee.
- Candles or open flames are not allowed in any rooms.
- We ask that our guests be respectful to their neighbors with quiet hours from 11pm-6am.
- Please do not remove any items that are intended to stay in the property. It is important that every guest enjoys the same amenities during their stay. If any items are found to be missing after your departure, we may charge your credit card on file to cover the cost.
- If furnishings or linens are damaged beyond repair or cleaning, a replacement fee may be charged.
