Net Price Calculator
The net price calculator is a useful tool for prospective students and families that provides an estimate of what it may cost to attend Alma College. The information you receive from the calculator is a broad estimate.
Several factors come into play when determining financial assistance (some examples: deadlines, levels of funding, grade levels, and academics).
The net price calculator does not include Federal Direct Loans in its financial aid calculations. Students who file a FAFSA are eligible for low interest, deferred loans through the Federal Direct Loan Program. The loan amounts students receive vary based on the student’s grade level in school. See more information regarding Federal Direct Loan amounts and requirements.
Cost of Attendance
The Financial Aid Office creates a cost of attendance estimate for all students when awarding financial assistance. This cost of attendance includes tuition, fees, housing and food as well as transportation, supplies and miscellaneous expenses. The cost of attendance is the average cost based on direct college expenses as well as regional norms for additional expenses related to college attendance like books and personal expenses.
Based on the information you provide, this calculator will help you estimate your total out-of-pocket expenses as well as provide you with resources to help finance your Alma College education. This calculator is intended for students who are enrolling for the first time at Alma College on a full-time basis who are U.S. Citizens. However, anyone can use this calculator to estimate expenses.
Using this calculator does not represent a final determination, actual cost award, financial assistance or a final net price. Price of attendance and financial aid availability change year to year.
