All incoming first-year and transfer students are required to sign up for a Becoming a Scot Day.

To sign up, please select the in-person event date you would like to attend. After you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email with more details. The program will last from approximately 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with optional program offerings until 5 p.m.

- Wednesday, July 9, 2025 – Register
- Thursday, July 10, 2025 – Register
- Friday, July 11, 2025 – Register
On Friday, July 11, we’ll offer special programming and networking opportunities for incoming students of color and their families. Learn about programs and services like Campbell Scholars, King-Chávez-Parks, and the Julius Chatman Living Learning Community; hear from diversity-focused student organizations; meet current students of color and ask them questions; and start building your personal network of support.

- Check in each day runs from 9:15– 9:50 a.m.
- Our opening program will take place in Presbyterian Hall.
- There is ample parking available in the lots by the Heritage Center.
- Upon arrival, you will receive a complete schedule for the day.
