Biography
Dr. Blazek’s career at Alma began in 2022. She is an assistant professor of psychology at Alma College, teaching primarily in the developmental field. Her research explores adolescence and the number of major changes ensuing during this time. She explores how identity informs how we feel about our changing bodies and how others view and treat us. She explores what social messages are given to adolescents about puberty and sex education from both formal and informal sources, exploring their impact on behavior.
