Biography
Amanda Harwood’s career at Alma began in 2015. Her major research areas are the toxicity and bioavailability of pesticides, legacy pollutants and road salts. She is also an expert in using mayflies for toxicity and bioaccumulation testing. While most of her work is on macroinvertebrates, she also has a strong interest in the role of pollution on public health.
