Scots in Service Living Learning Community

The Scots in Service Living Learning Community (LLC) is run by the Center for College and Community Engagement (3CE) and aims to foster campus-community collaboration.

As a participant, you’ll live among peers interested in service and leadership and reflect on your civic responsibility. You’ll attend socials where you can meet and learn about community partners. You will also gain valuable leadership experience planning and co-leading your own event. Plus, you’ll receive a $500 housing credit per year.

 

Requirements

All students interested in service are welcome to apply to the Scots in Service (LLC). As a member, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Apply and be accepted.
  • Create and execute a community engagement plan with staff.
  • Attend two community-building meetings monthly. Plan and co-lead one meeting.
  • Complete an end-of-semester reflection.
  • The application to join the Scots in Service LLC will be posted online in the winter 2023 semester.
