Dr. Argueta-Diaz is an associate professor of physics. His career at Alma began in 2009. He has a Ph.D. in optoelectronics with postdoctoral training in optical imaging, optical sensing and wireless sensor networks.
Dr. Argueta-Diaz has over five years of experience in micro-optical design using ray-tracing software (OSLO, ZEMAX). He has led several projects from problem identification with the client to the presentation of the first prototype. He has been granted six U.S. patents in optical design and optical communications.
