Actuarial science uses mathematics, finance, accounting, and economics to manage risk in a fast-changing world. As an actuarial science major, you will:

  • Develop core skills in mathematics, economics, data analytics, and business processes.
  • Use advanced statistical methods to evaluate data and make decisions.
  • Prepare for the first two actuarial exams (Exam P and Exam FM).
  • Complete an internship or independent study to gain hands-on experience.
